Regularly Controversial Congressman Paul Gosar Forwarded a Racist Email Pushing the Great Replacement Theory


Unlike Marjorie Taylor Greene or Lauren Boebert, Paul Gosar only seems to do something controversial every few months. When he does, though, it is usually something overwhelmingly embarrassing.

The last time the Arizona Rep. was in the news, he had tweeted a video that featured him killing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. This time around, he is attacking immigrants. Gosar recently forwarded an email of a anti-immigrant screed that followed along the lines of the great replacement theory.

The message Gosar sent was originally written by far-right radio host Stew Peters. It read in part:

“If America replaces its existing population with foreigners who are more violent or less capable, then this country will suffer. I don’t know why that’s so hard for people to grasp. It’s really quite simple.
