Democrat elected official, 50-year-old Marvin Smith, was arrested and charged with raping a 15-year-old boy.
Smith was elected to the Darby Township Board of Commissioners in 2019. According to reports, he turned himself into the Philadelphia Police Department last week on charges of rape, sexual assault, and others in the 2017 rape.
