Former governor and U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley will turn her attention back to South Carolina next week campaigning for Ellen Weaver, the GOP nominee for state superintendent of education.
Billed as a “grassroots rally,” the Oct. 24 gathering will take place at Halls Signature Events, an upscale private dining and event space at 5 Faber St. in downtown Charleston.
Details were announced Oct. 21 by the Weaver campaign, which also promised a “special announcement” will be made by Haley and Weaver.
“We both agree that education reform is one of the key issues in the 2022 elections, and now more than ever we need a conservative superintendent of education in South Carolina who will stand up for students, teachers and parents,” Weaver said.
