Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley helped kick off a conference this week of prominent conservatives in Nashville where she and other speakers touted their push to regain Republican ground in the 2022 midterms but sidestepped discussing a simultaneous House hearing on the Jan. 6 attack on U.S. Capitol.
Haley was Thursday’s keynote speaker and spoke about American exceptionalism and the “principles at the heart” of the nation.
“We have to restore the peoples’ belief that America is worth fighting for,” Haley said at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, where hundreds have gathered to hear prominent conservative speakers at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s “Road to Majority” conference.
