Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will visit Knoxville on Wednesday for a fundraiser. While DeSantis is often mentioned as a presidential candidate in 2024, he has not announced. Therefore, the funds raised from this event will go to his gubernatorial reelection campaign for 2022 or a PAC to support his favored campaigns.
DeSantis is the second potential GOP presidential candidate to be in Knoxville, after former United States ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley’s visit earlier this month for the Medal of Honor Celebration.
