National no-fly list legislation introduced in Congress


IIt took a while, but legislation to create a national no-fly list finally made its way through Congress. Lawmakers yesterday introduced a bill to create a national list of unruly passengers in a bid to curb the rise in violent incidents on planes.

“Unfortunately, too many of our pilots, flight attendants and crew members face unacceptable abuse from passengers – everything from kicking to spitting to biting,” Rep. Eric Swalwell said ( D-Calif.), who introduced the bill, at a press conference. “This behavior is not only inappropriate, but also endangers other crew members and passengers.”
