Magsig picks up backing from Tulare’s Boudreaux, three Supes


Fresno County Supervisor Nathan Magsig’s bid to replace former Rep. Devin Nunes (R–Tulare) got a sizable boost, courtesy of south Valley neighbors.

Thursday, Magsig announced he received the backing of Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux and County Supervisors Larry Micari, Amy Shuklian, and Pete Vander Poel.

Boudreaux, a deeply popular law enforcement figure in the south Valley, was recently mulling to run for Nunes’ vacant seat, per reports.

Given the lack of a Tulare County-anchored landing spot after the six-month term’s expiration, Boudreaux passed on a bid.
