Pittsburgh (KDKA) – Supply chain issues are still at the forefront due to the small number of products consumers put on their shelves.
In an exclusive interview only seen at KDKA, political editor Jon Delano asked Vice President Kamala Harris what the government is doing about it.
Empty shelves for consumers and missing parts for local manufacturers — it all became inconvenient, with inflation at 5.4 percent in September.
Delano: What can you and your government do to mitigate these issues in western Pennsylvania and across the country?
Harris: This is a major national and really global issue for western Pennsylvania. Supply chain issues actually preceded the pandemic, but became apparent during the pandemic. “
