Kamala Harris’ husband visits Boone for Biden campaign | Election


BOONE — For what several speakers on Oct. 26 called the “most important election in our lifetime,” Doug Emhoff made campaign stops in Boone to advocate for his wife, Kamala Harris, for vice president and presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Community members were invited to attend the event at Booneshine Brewing Company in a socially distanced format. Emhoff stopped at several locations in Winston-Salem prior to arriving in Boone, and also planned to visit the Appalachian State University Plemmons Student Union after his address at Booneshine.
