In less than two weeks, Donald Trump will make a triumphant return to the capital city, visiting the city for the first time since leaving office to attend an American First Policy Institute event.
According to a Tuesday Axios article, the former president will serve as the keynote speaker for the two-day America First Agenda Summit on July 26.
The televised select committee hearings on January 6 and rumors that Trump’s hold on the Republican Party is eroding coincide with his return to D.C. A recent survey indicates that nearly half of GOP voters want to see a different candidate on the 2024 presidential ballot.
High profile Republican figures, including former Trump officials, lawmakers, state officials, and governors, will attend the event.
The keynote talk will be given by Trump at 3:00 pm on July 25-26, the second day of the summit.
