South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster was officially sworn in to his second full term Wednesday, putting him in position to make history.McMaster and Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette, of Travelers Rest, took the oath of office on the steps of the State House around noon Wednesday.If McMaster serves his entire term, he will become the longest-serving governor in state history. Immediately after taking oath, two F-16 jets flew over the State House in celebration. The ceremony was attended by lawmakers, SC Supreme Court justices and former governors — including Sec. Dick Riley, David Beasley, Jim Hodges, Mark Sanford and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley.
