A push by Republicans for a probe into Hunter Biden has gathered new momentum after a New York Post report found a business partner of Hunter Biden visited the White House on several occasions while Joe Biden was vice president.
On Saturday, the Post reported Eric Schwerwin, the president of investment firm Rosemont Seneca Partners where Hunter Biden was a founding member, made at least 19 visits to the White House and other official locations between 2009 and 2015.
Schwerwin had meetings with aides and assistants to the then-vice president and Jill Biden, according to White House visitor logs the post reviewed.
He also had a meeting with Joe Biden himself on November 17, 2010 in the West Wing.
The meetings were held while Hunter Biden was striking multi-million dollar deals in foreign countries, including China.
