When Donald Trump announced his intention to run again for president in 2024 his message was widely panned as lacking energy and focus. Three of his billionaire backers promptly bailed. His “schtick” seems to be wearing thin. NBC’s Chuck Todd declared the campaign’s first 17 days to have been a “catastrophic failure.”
