The first and only debate between Democrat John Fetterman and Republican Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania took center stage this week in politics.
Democrats had banked on turning Pennsylvania blue after Sen. Pat Toomey (R-PA) announced his retirement from the Senate, but Fetterman’s shaky debate performance on Tuesday reset the race and put their pickup opportunity in doubt.
While claiming his doctor deemed him fit to serve following his May stroke, Fetterman had difficulty forming coherent sentences as he relied on closed captioning technology to process the debate questions.
