Conway, who is married to Trump’s former aide Kellyanne Conway, captioned the tweet: “Nothing to see here, just a former president of the United States sharing a social media post advocating or predicting civil war in the United States. No biggie.”
“Donald Trump is calling for civil war. Of course, like Vietnam and the walk to the Insurrection, he won’t be man enough to fight it,” said California-based Democratic politician Eric Swalwell.
Trump is currently banned from posting on Twitter himself following the 2020 Capitol riots. But if Elon Musk, who is seeking to buy the social media platform, gets his way, Trump could be reinstated – although his posts may be delayed by six hours.Â
