The Democratic National Committee is giving New Hampshire more time to comply with changes it says needs to happen if the state wants to hold an early primary, but state lawmakers and party leaders say that New Hampshire is going first, regardless of what the DNC says.June 3 is the new deadline imposed on New Hampshire to repeal its state law requiring that it hold the country’s first primary. But Granite State leaders on both sides of the aisle have been making it clear that nothing is going to change by then.The DNC also wants New Hampshire to allow more early voting.
