The House Democrats’ retreat, hosted by Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chair Sean Patrick Maloney, will reportedly feature a Wednesday night performance by drag queen Lady Bunny. Lady Bunny has previously blasted Rep. Eric Swalwell on social media for his COVID-19 commentary as well as called Biden a senile liar.
According to the Politico Playbook, Wednesday evening’s reception will include “musical entertainment” from Lady Bunny, whose shows are reportedly “known for rejecting political correctness.”
In December of 2021, the drag queen called out Swalwell on Twitter for saying that unvaccinated people should be banned from flying.
