Clemson freezes tuition for SC residents, increases rate for out-of-state | Greenville News


Clemson University joined several other public universities across the state in freezing tuition for South Carolina residents for the coming school year. However, the university increased the rate for out-of-state undergraduates for the first time in three years.

In a special virtual meeting on July 8, the Board of Trustees convened to hear a brief presentation on tuition and fees, among other action items. The trustees had access to materials involved in the presentation for several weeks and had opportunity in advance to ask questions of Clemson’s Executive Vice President for Finance and Operations Tony Wagner.
