Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright famously stated, there’s “a special place in hell,” for women who don’t support other women.

The statement brought her both cheers and jeers. Cheers for those who saw Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton as trying to break through the solid glass ceiling covering the White House.

But Albright got jeers from women who don’t like being told to vote for someone just because they share the same sort of genitalia. On the most recent Battleground PA podcast, political analysts Jeffrey Lord and Rogette Harris joined PennLive’s Opinion Editor Joyce M. Davis to ponder the question of why no woman has yet been able to lead the most powerful nation on earth.
