San Miguel Restaurant’s liquor license approved – The Fort Morgan Times

The Fort Morgan City Council approved a new liquor license for San Miguel Restaurant at Tuesday’s meeting, after holding a public hearing on the license application.

The council first approved their formal receiving of the application at their June 4 meeting.
Public Information Officer / City Clerk John Brennan presented the application on Tuesday.

He said the application was reviewed by the city attorney and Fort Morgan Police Department and found to be complete, and then it came to the council for them to formally approve it.

Brennan explained the public hearing was to find out the “needs and desires” from the community for the establishment to have the license. He noted that there was previously a restaurant at the 322 Ensign St. site, O’Sole Mio Trattoria Italiana, which did have a hotel and restaurant liquor license.
