AUSTIN, Texas – Religious advocates are taking their fight to the State Capitol on Wednesday to tout their support for Chick-fil-A.

The group Texas Values, and pastors from around the state, are holding “Save Chick-fil-A Day.” The group believes Texas businesses should not be discriminated against for their faith.
Members of Texas Values arrived with signs that said “Come and Take It. FreedomtobelieveTexas.com.”
Advocates asked people to show up at the State Capitol in support or visit their local Chick-fil-A restaurant. The Texas House State Affairs Committee is listening to public testimony about House Bill 1035 and House Bill 3172.
