Tiger Woods Turned Down A $3 Million Pay Day

Tiger Woods put together his most-successful season this year. Although he didn’t win a major tournament – he was close – Woods found the winner’s circle late in the year with a win at the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club.

The win nearly placed Woods at the top of the FedEx Cup Standings, but Justin Rose nailed a birdie on No. 18 of the Tour Championship to wrap up his title. With Woods’ success this season, every tournament wanted a piece.
